Mail Order Workflow
When it comes to mail order pharmacy, there are as many different
workflows as there are mail orders. Depending on the pharmacy's
volume your workflow may need to be two steps, or as many as ten.
Mail orders needed workflow steps where users can work quickly,
but have enough controls so no steps or process is missed. To
accommodate that need PanaceaRx has multiple "standard"
workflow steps, but also allows for configuration of your own
workflow and queues. Some of the standard workflow step are:

| Order Entry |
First contact with Rx's where Orders are
created and Rx's grouped together. Prescription images are
also scanned at this step. |
| Prescription Entry |
Prescriptions are entered. Rx's can be entered
based on images being viewed at this step. |
| RPh Verification |
For workflows where technicians enter Rx's,
RPh verification is used to verify new and/or refills that
are ready to be filled. |
| Fill Station |
Pills are put in vials, medication prepared.
Automation/Robotics are often interfaced at this step |
| RPh QA |
Pharmacist QA. Prescription images, pill
images, and bar code scanning are used to insure the patient's
safety. |
| Shipping |
Medication is shipped. Interfaces with shipping
systems often are in place. Shipping and tracking information
are stored. |
